Akpu (Fermented Cassava Dough) — Bulk
Fermented cassava dough (akpu) from Benue State — the traditional raw material for fufu. Sour, soft and ready for further processing.
Akpu is fermented cassava dough produced by soaking peeled cassava tubers in water for 3–4 days, then pressing out excess moisture. The result is a soft, slightly sour dough that is the traditional raw material for fufu (also called akpu or loi-loi).
Our akpu is produced from fresh Benue cassava using traditional fermentation methods and packed in food-grade bags for distribution to fufu processors and market traders.
